Who we are
Devzent — Development Zone of Emerging New Technologies — is a software company registered in Islamabad, Pakistan. When you use this website or engage us for work, we are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach our data protection contact at info@devzent.com.
What we collect, and why
When you submit a form. Your name, email, phone number, company and whatever you write in the message. We use it to reply to you and, if you become a client, to manage the engagement. Legal basis: your consent and, once we are working together, the performance of a contract.
When you apply for a job. Your name, contact details, CV, and anything else you choose to send. We use it only to assess your application.
When you subscribe to the newsletter. Your email address, plus a record of your confirmation. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
When you visit the site. We record page views, referrer, approximate country, device type and browser. We store a salted, irreversible hash rather than your IP address, and the salt rotates monthly. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data to anyone.
Cookies. Essential cookies keep the site working — they are set regardless because the site cannot function without them. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner. No analytics script loads before you choose.

Who else sees it
We use a small number of processors, each under a data processing agreement: our email provider, our cloud hosting provider, Cloudflare for content delivery and security, Sentry for error monitoring with personal data scrubbed, and Google reCAPTCHA for spam prevention. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where it is stored
Primarily in data centres in the European Union and Singapore. Where data moves outside your jurisdiction, we rely on standard contractual clauses with the relevant processor. For clients with data residency requirements, we can host in a specified region — tell us and we will arrange it.
How we protect it
TLS on every connection, encryption at rest, role-based access with two-factor authentication on all staff accounts, audit logging of every privileged action, and annual penetration testing. Our full security posture is published at /security.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to a particular use. You can also ask for your data in a portable format. Write to info@devzent.com and we will respond within 30 days — usually much sooner. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you directly, tell you by email.
