Schools typically run admissions in one system, fees in a second and attendance on paper, then spend the end of every term reconciling the three by hand. The awkward part is not any single module; it is that a student record has to stay consistent across all of them while several staff edit it at once.
A multi-tenant Laravel and PostgreSQL backend with a Next.js interface, built tenant-aware from the first migration rather than retrofitted. Role-based permissions separate what an administrator, a teacher and a parent can see. Fee vouchers, attendance registers and exam results all read from one student record.
The platform is in active development as a Devzent product. It is not yet deployed to a school, so there are no usage figures to report — what exists is a working system that demonstrates the architecture behind it.
